Average park,clean,nice staff,not far from centre of town. Only downfall the price $70 for a powered site for a couple. Noticed many unfilled sites.i believe that if the price was more reasonable they would probably get more patrons. Been travelling for 3 months, the most expensive park by far.
I stayed in the cabins during a typical Kalgoorlie blackout and 42 degree day, no fans or contact with management. We decided to leave after one night and forfeit our money paid for the rest. It was very tired and dirty the glasses and cutlery where filthy and stains all over the walls and smelt horrible. Not at all comfortable. We slept in the car as it was too hot and uncomfortable in the cabin. No contact from staff what so ever, tried calling and not even a rerurn call, it was a terrible experience.
A quiet location and within walking distance of the centre of town. The main issue was the backing up of water from the common drain in the showers. Not only is this unpleasant it is also unhygienic and seemed to be an ongoing problem. The park generally seemed a bit rundown and needs a good spruce up.
We were very disappointed in this park as we have stayed in many Big 4 parks before and found them to be of a very high standard. We found out that by calling themselves an Acclaim park they do not live up to the standard of a proper Big 4 …
Staff went out of their way to accommodate us, two vans next too each other. Facilities clean and so was park. Lots of shade. Would easily stay here again. Great camp kitchen. Quiet position close to city centre.
Powered Ensuite sites are great if your self contained. Super clean and new. We stayed in the family unit for $200 for 1 night and it was quite unpleasant for the price but I guess it's 2 star. Ensuite site I'd rate 5 star.
Needs a good clean up if there going to charge $70 per night. for a Big 4 Caravan park it’s pretty poor, old and needs up grading, if they want to charge rip off prices.
😠Office doesn’t open on Sunday or public holiday, the only dump point is right down the end of the park away from where caravan sites are you couldn’t walk your tank to it, amenities very old but clean with in reason.
Close to the town with in reason couldn’t walk but taxis are available
2 star park I believe that’s all it’s worth
Manager needs to be flexible when booking arrangements go awry. Ladies shower and toilet block need tending to. Peeling paint and mouldy ceilings. Hot water is a concern as it could seriously scold the young and elderly. After being told park was fully booked and they could not give us the site we required i noted said park was empty and was for the duration of our stay. Photo's supplied. And when contacting the website i got the usual thankyou for your feedback and no follow up. Has not even acknowledge photo's i supplied to the email i sent. Sad to say i shall not return to this park any time soon 😔
